Artella Daily Muse Submission Guidelines
 We enthusiastically welcome submissions to The Artella Daily Muse!
We do not pay for published articles; however, we include a bio with photo and active links, and all authors retain copyright of their published works. We do accept reprints of articles published elsewhere, provided that you hold the copyright.
Publishing with The Artella Daily Muse is a great way to expand your platform, add to your publishing credits, and get your work seen by an enthusiastic audience.
How to submit an article:
1. Send your article as a Microsoft Word attachment to admsubmissions@artellaland.com with "Daily Muse Submission" in the Subject line.
2. At the end of the article, include your bio, including any links you would like the bio to contain.
3. If you have a photo or image you’d like included with the article, please attach that as well, in JPEG format.
4. IMPORTANT: In the body of the email, please include ALL of the following:
Your name:
Contact email address:
Newspaper Section To Which You Are Submitting: (see below)
The name of the article:
You will receive a response within 4 weeks.
Below is a description of each section in The Daily Muse at this time. Please keep these sections in mind as you submit your work, and specify to which section you are submitting so that we may forward it to the correct person.
Front Page Muse: Articles and press releases about current news, trends, and announcements of interest to creative individuals. Front Page Muse submissions must include at least one photo.
In The Studio: We feature daily interviews with interesting artists of ALL kinds! If you'd like to be featured, tell us a little bit about yourself and send us a few images that show your art. If you have an artist to recommend, we'd love to hear your recommendation, also!
Creative Quickies: Quick projects or ideas that fit in the following categories:
- Home Care Quickies
- Quickies for Friends
- Family Quickies
- Kitchen Quickies
- Quickie Crafts
- Quickies for the Soul
ARTitorial: Art project how-to's and inspiring articles about creativity
Downloadable Activity Pages: For The Calmics section (i.e., pages that can be printed out with puzzles, games, simple art projects, coloring pages, bookmarks, etc.). Submit in JPEG format, no more than 650 pixels wide.
Write InStyle: All articles pertaining to writing and the writing life
Blissness: Articles pertaining to running a business, especially those of interest to creative individuals
Heal Estate: Inspiring articles about healing the body, mind, and spirit. The Heal Estate section is committed to remain an open forum for people of differing faiths.
Poem and Garden: Poems of all kinds
Daily Giving: Articles about making a difference in the world (i.e., profiles of interesting organizations and individual volunteers making a difference; inspiring how-to's with instructions and guidance about what readers can do, etc.)
Map of the Day: Creative, alternative, out-of-the-box "maps" (i.e., a map of your day, a map of how to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a map of the soul, a map of falling in love, a map of how to make a collage, a map of a flower, etc.)
