ARTELLAGRAM 3-13-2012:
"In the Studio"
An Interview with Donna Mills

(This interview is continued from the March 13, 2012 Artellagram)

Artella: How has your ARTbundance™ training affected your work and/or life?

Donna: ARTbundance™ has provided me with a great community. There are awesome people out there who are applying the benefits of the training to all different types of businesses, and that’s exciting to see. I’m at a point in my life where I’m not interested in building a full-blown business per se, but I’m definitely interested in what others are up to, and being part of the ARTbundance™ community inspires and motivates me.

One tremendous benefit of the training is having tools that allow us (coaches and clients alike) to access those parts of ourselves that aren’t within reach of our ‘logical brains.’ It’s like having a key to sneak in the back door and discover things that aren’t accessible through traditional avenues of linear thinking. And the tools are fun!

Artella: In your mind, how are creativity and spirituality related?

Donna: When we create something, it’s an expression of the divine in us. It’s an engagement with the flow of spirit. I believe that the ultimate Creator wants us to be creative as well, and through history, it’s people’s creations that are passed down to us—creativity is immortal.

Artella: How is prosperity related to creativity and spirituality?

Donna: I think it’s an attitude. We’ve all heard the phrase, “An attitude of gratitude,” and that’s what prosperity means to me—being aware that we have been given gifts to share, and sharing them. When we are truly enjoying what we do (which is a function of our creativity and spirituality), others are drawn to us. There’s something magical about being around someone who is in love with what they’re doing. When you draw followers in that way, how can you help but be prosperous?

Artella: What kinds of people do you most enjoy working with? Who is your ideal client?

Donna: I love to work with people who have great ideas, but are struggling with focusing, clarifying and taking action. It’s exciting to see a client distill her vision and communicate it clearly. I’ve found that the ability to articulate what you’re about gives you energy, drive, and the ability to take action.

Artella: What does your future hold? What projects are you working on now?

Donna: Several months ago, I completed a course in hand analysis, and am practicing using fingerprints to define life purpose, life lesson (the challenges that automatically pop up when you actively pursue your life purpose), and life school (the water in which you’re swimming, so to speak) for my clients. As a person who has been struggling with defining my own life purpose for more years than I care to count, having an objective way to access this information has been almost miraculous. It just astonishes me how accurate and insightful the process is. And hand analysis is an excellent springboard for effective coaching!
