ARTELLAGRAM 4-14-2012:
"In the Studio"
An Interview with Merrill Disney

(This interview is continued from the April 14, 2012 Artellagram)

Artella: In your mind, how are creativity and spirituality related?

Merrill: Creativity and spirituality always go hand in hand. Both experiences offer an open mind to what my intuition has to offer while exploring the journey.

Artella: How is prosperity related to creativity and spirituality?

Merrill: Prosperity is a given when being in the world while leading with creativity and spirituality. I love my work and adore living well. This triad works well for providing a well balanced life.

Artella: What kinds of people do you most enjoy working with? Who is your ideal client?

Merrill: I seem to attract clients that don’t have many boundaries. I say “If you haven’t learned to abandon yourself by 35, it is time”. In order to reward oneself with the magic life has to offer, being free is essential. In comedy, we call it “being up in the helicopter” because there are no wrongs or rights, no rules, just up in the space of freedom where great material is channeled.

The ideal client is someone that has a strong comfort zone to disagree with the draconian rules of an unhealthy society. Always appreciate a foundation of their own opinions, thoughts and ideas, so we can go in and make some divine revisions!

Artella: ARTbundance Coaching is based on nine ARTbundance Principles. Do you have a favorite Principle, or one that you really enjoy activating in other people? Which one, and why?

Merrill: Gratitude! It always seems to come back to opening up the wings of being truly grateful so the goodness (sugar on top) keeps sprinkling.

Artella: What does your future hold? What projects are you working on now?

Merrill: I am successfully still working with stand-up comedians! Finding that more and more executives desire training in performance too. As we all know, the world is our stage, and this is when the authentic nature of the message is allowed to be communicated. I am also finishing up my book on body image. And the eating disorder virtual dinner parties are growing so large that we are beyond putting in those extra leaves to extend the dining room table. (haha)
