Welcome to The Artella Events Page!

Digital Altered Books Revealed – Part II is here!

Digital Altered Books™ are the latest phenomenon to hit the creative world, merging the fascinating process of altering beautiful vintage books with the creative ease of digital imaging technology. Earlier in the Spring, Marney led an online workshop called Digital Altered Books Revealed, which introduced this new art form to the Artella Community. (If you missed this workshop, you can download a video of it which you can find at this link.)

On Wednesday, September 10, Artella Founder Marney Makridakis will present Digital Altered Books™ Revealed - Part II, a FREE online Webinar that will present even more advanced techniques for using Photoshop to create stunning Digital Altered Books™.

If you haven't visited the inspiring Digital Altered Books Gallery, be sure to drop by and take a look at the beautiful Digital Altered Books created by artists in the Artella community!

The Digital Altered Books™ Revealed - Part II Webinar will take place in an online chat room, in a unique Webinar format that allows participants to actually see Marney as she demonstrates various techniques for using Photoshop to work with the lovely digital books and the incredibly varied digital ephemera available in the Artella Store.

Anyone is welcome to attend. However, please note that the class will be geared for using Photoshop software with Digital Altered Books™, so it will probably be most appropriate for those who have at least a little experience or knowledge about Photoshop and digital art.

In order to attend, you will need to have working speakers on your computer, and you must download a Javascript program prior to signing on to the class. No telephone call is necessary to attend.

Digital Altered Books™ Revealed - Part II will be held Wednesday, September 10, at 8:00 EST. Just as with the first class, space is limited and we again are taking participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
